who am I? honestly that question is a lot more profound then its simplicity would indicate, but I'm still trying to answer that question myself. my name however is Andrew I'm 28 years old and I have high functioning autism/Asperger's, I usually don't open with the fact I have autism when talking to people for the first time, but if you found your way here I think you might already have had an inkling about that (warmly chuckles).
I created this site so I could share my own stories and hopefully utilize the internet to help other people not feel as alone. also non altruistically though I both enjoy writing and this gives me a sense of purpose that I create myself. there are many things I hope this site can become, but I often focus to far in the future. for now the attempt of trying is enough for me.
my mother ran a blog called MumTalksAutism and it opened many avenues of exploration and self discovery for her, she met lots of different people on her journey, some I think she will keep in contact with for the rest of her life. I unfortunately am not my mother, I'm not as charismatic and I am slightly awkward on occasion when it comes to my demeanor and my delivery of certain topics. but with that being said I do believe I have my own unique qualities to offer to those I am given the opportunity to interact with (gently smiles).
please be patient with me as I get acquainted with these new systems, well new to me at least, change is... I could say a lot about change, but for now ill simply state that I will consistently try my best to make this site and anything I share with you all of the highest quality I can manage. I stopped using social media full stop a couple of years back now so it'll all feel relatively new again to me. if you see any mistakes in my writing or have any concerns please feel free to contact me, as soon as I'm able to set that feature up (warmly chuckle's)
time is the most expensive thing in the world, no amount of money can buy a second of it! most businesses find ways to manipulate the mind of there consumers in subtle ways to extract from them that most precious of resources. I personally find that time, even unthinkingly given time is one of the greatest gifts you can give another person, business or activity (awkwardly chuckles) coming on a bit strong aren't I? still though I stick by what I said and the point I'm trying to make is that when I say I appreciate the time you spend on this website or on my social media pages or to comment on a post, that sort of thing, please just know that I appreciate your time.
thank you for taking the time to read this
